What is the best way to stop your trunk from rattling? I have a two door 98' honda civic.

DYNAMAT!  or Brown Bread, Noise Killer, RoadKill, or any of the other sound damping products out there.  Apply it under the carpeting, to the bare metal of the car.  Make sure you don't leave any air pockets but also don't cover up any important holes or mechanisms.

First you might wanna make sure it's not just your license plate or something simple like that.  If you have a really loud setup you might need to line the entire trunk with it.

Is it the whole trunk that rattles? or just one spot?

I would suggest using brown bread. I recently bought some myself. It is waaaayyyy less expensive than dynamat and works just as well.

esmith69,

Its is basically just the gate of the trunk(the part that opens and closes.) I think I am going to try to put brown bread throughout the whole trunk. Thanks for the info guys.
