Looking for a lot of SPL so i'm aiming towards a High spl subwoofer. I've heard RE audio subwoofers were pretty good, i've never had a chance to try them.
Just wondering should I run four 12" SR12D2 (300W RMS) on a Jl Audio 1000/1 or four SE12D2 (600W RMS) On a 2600 Watt Hifonics Brutus amp. These are two amps that I own.
I already have a custom ported box for 4 12's. I believe it is 5 cubic feet Tuned at 35hz
ANY OTHER HIGH SPL SUBWOOFER SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE HELPFUL

If memory serves the RE SE like sealed boxes. The SX would be the right choice for Ported. I run a single SE of a Zapco C2k-6 and have been very happy. They do take abuse. Look at the Fi stuff.

SX is a beast if you got the cash to spring for some. they work just fine in a sealed box too

RE subs perform very good. Invest in the SX. I have 2 15's 2 ohm dvc on 2 xt 4000D and they were the best subs I have ever invested in. Try them, you will not regret.

Of course. Anything is possible. Visit your local car stereo professional and ask them to design and build an enclosure for you. ------------- Support the12volt.com

Had you actually looked at the DD site you would have found all sorts of information on box types and building the recommended ported box. I guess it was just easier to come here and ask though....... why is it that people as so stinking lazy?????

take care before u use a ported box. You may run into port noise if designed badly.
