I want to switch out my 6.75" speakers for 6.5" speakers. My research on this has left me confused...

OnlineCarStereo displays 6.5" speakers that are compatible with my 6.75" fit.

Are all 6.5" speakers going to fit where my 6.75" speakers are?

No, some 6.5" speaker need a mounting adaptor to make them fit. If you can fit the 6.75" use it as the woofer is also a little larger to improve midbass response.
