has anyone installed an aftermarket amp into the factory system with the mark levinson audio/gps system?Tryung to do this on a lexus ls430.

I would go with RF 3sixty-1 or 3 sixty.2 systems., that will give you 3 stereo channels of clean preamp outputs.

I am nit familiar with the rf361 or rf362,my problem so far is the connections i have tried using R+ R- L+ L- from component tuner to amp is i have no volume control just steady sound.Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Chris.

You need to connect the line out converter to the output side of the amplifier. You probably need to use a Pac-audio.com sni-35

The reason why you probably can't control the volume, is because they are controlled internally by the levinson amp, i am having the same problem, but i will try to bypass the stock volume knob, i'll keep posting 'till i solve this.

Well, we finally have volume control from the head unit, we hardwired the 3sixty processor's volume control, and left the RF software control at main, no subwoofer control though, but i have 6 channels of clear sound, now on to speaker changing, going with punch components for doors, and trying to fit an elemnetal design eu 700 6.5 woofer
