I have a question on the quality of some amp instalation kits. I have been on ebay and have found some generic 4gauge wire/everything you need to install a amp or amps. I think I have some Idea on what I need but maybe somebody out there can through in some extra input. This is what I have right now. 225hcca 400 watts orion amp, 2 10 inch subs NT orions,  Rockford punch 301s 300watt amp running mids/highs. I have looked at several instalation kits that show to have all the suff and appear to be of good quality such as ofc wire etc. I can save half on this compared to street wire, rockford kits. But I am not sure of the quality, and I am all little scared of the preamp output cables. any suggestion I don't want to settle for less just because of price.

Just get a 4ga kit on Ebay or something...Stores charge way too much. You'd probably also want a 4ga in, multiple 8ga out distribution block and some 8ga wire. You might find a kit with all of that, but most don't have that stuff.

I was just questioning some of the quality in the generic brands. Such as the preamp output cables. Do you think It matters to use generic or name brand
