finally pioneer fixed the slow startup on the f series, also its update the bluetooth, unit performance, and touch screen lag, i updated a few at work and now its 35% faster. u can download it at.... https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Support/Navigation/Free+Firmware+Update+2+for+AVIC+F-Series and reply with your comments!!!

I've sold a few of those units and I still was less than impressed with the startup time even after the update was loaded. It was suppposed to improve touch screen response as well, but I still saw a very noticeable lag between touching the screen and the unit's response. At least the update fixed a few of the bluetooth issues, especially with Blackberries
