I am installing 2 amps for the first time in my 1993 mustang, it is all kenwood accessories two 10inch subs two door speakers two rear deck speakers one amp is a monoblock for the subs and is rated at 1000 watts and the other is rated at 650 watts for the other speakers just wandering what would be the best way to use both amps and what all i would need to do this. Let me know what kind of deck you have and if you have amp outputs on it to connect RCAs. Some of the more nicer decks have 2 outputs for 2 amps. Sometimes your amp will have an additional output for RCAs to connect another amp in series if your deck does not have 2 outputs.

It's really simple. Use the mon-block for the subs, and the other amp for the rest. Depending on your tastes, you might want to use an equalizer, where you run one rca from the head unit to it,and then seperate rca's from the equalizer to the amps. I don't do it for "boosting" the volume,I just like to customize the sound to my own likes/dislikes,and my vehicle. Plus they usually have a sub-volume control, which is nice. It doesn't cost very much more and gives you alot of control.
