Thanks in advance. Any thoughts on the placement of amp(s) in an HHR so that they are out of sight.?

There is tons of room under the very high front seats as long as you are cautious about water and liquid spills getting on them.

Thanks for the input NJ. As for you CCroadkill, Kiss my GRITS. As an update (incase anyone shives a git ) I began with the amps mounted on a wooden rack, but that was too easily seen. So, I decided to tey them in the space between removable dceck that covers the carpet and the cover over the spare. I have two amps that are fan cooled, and it made for a neat install. The battery as you may know is in the rear area next to the spare, so power/ground is a snap. I used two fuse holders, one for 12v + , and the the other for the ground. Thus if it needs to be removed/serviced, its not a hassle with a "hot" 12v + connection flopping around.I WOULD NOT have even tried this if the amps wern't fan cooled. It is easy to check them (with the car running) to make sure the fans work. I do this every Sat am. (same time I check oil level, tire pres, ect. It was also very easy as ALL of the audio connections are in the same area. (factory amp in rear pannel) All you see now are the sub-boxes. Also I put the rear seats in the down position, only room for munchkins back there anyway. When I think of where to hide the subs I'll be in high cotton (lol)
