hey wuzzup ? i have a problem. i have a customer, who purchased a pair of type e 10" single 4 ohm subs ive installed and built boxes for different type of vechicles. they sound pretty good, if youre on a busdet these work out quite well. make things short the customer owns a jeep wrangler. ive made fiberglass boxes resembling the gas cans etc.,. before. this customer is too darn picky, i got customer service but to a certain extent all ytou guys know what im talking about. well he doesnt want that type of enclosure or down fire either. he wants the speakers to be able to show, (its not like its show.) theyre going to be out in the open with nothing to have to be able to bass reflect off of. what kind of enclosure should i buld ive done convertible sl500 and sl 600 and impalas. and my lil truck too. my head is going crazy. any other ideas would be greatly appreciated thanx to all and merry x-mas. peace!!!

installers do it best. we got the magic hands!
Here's the owner's manual... Show him what is available in "optimum", and let him decide. Your job is to install what the customer wants. If he wants a 60Hz, 24dB hump, that's not for you to decide he can't have it.
And where did you *ever* get the idea that bass has to "reflect off" anything? That's one of the single most ridiculous ideas I've ever heard... Let the woofers show if he wants to see them.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
