Was wondering if anybody knows if the factory sirius rooftop antenna will work on an aftermarket sirius tuner. My exact application is for a 2009 VW Jetta. I am trying to replace the stock radio with a Pioneer nav and sirius tuner. Instead of running another antenna into vehicle, could it be possible to use the existing sirius antenna? Stock radio had sirius radio built in. Any help would be great . Thanks,

I have no idea if you will be able to use the antenna, you may have to remove the radio and see if the antenna is plugged into the back of the unit, if it is, unplug it and see if it looks like it will fit in the new unit. Some of the newer vehicles have a separate tuner mounted external of the radio and is connected to the radio via a multi pin cable. If there is no antenna plugged into the radio, you may have to go to the dealership, and see if they can tell you where the sirius tuner is mounted in that vehicle, then find it and check the plug on the antenna to see if it will work for you.
