hey guys. I just got a kicker amp and 12" sub. I wired everything and my amp turns on but my sub isnt getting any power. Im assuming that means that the sub has to wired wrong or something along those lines. Anything else it could be?

Is everything you got brand new?  I would start by metering the sub and make sure it's not defective.  I would also check the signal you're getting from your radio.  Where do you have your rca's connected too?  is it a factory ot aftermarket radio?

actually the problem was one of my wires inside the box was disconnected and my amp was turned all the way down so the sub was barely on. kinda embarrassing but at least its working now haha.

Be sure you read the instructions in "How to set your gain" and do so properly.
