I'm installing a pair of Pioneer 6x9 speakers[used].The speakers aren't marked positive and negative and the original speaker wires are gone. There is a wide spade terminal and a narrow spade terminal on each speaker.Which is which? Thanks in advance.

Generally the wider spade is the positive terminal.  If you want to make sure, use a 9V battery.  If you connect the positive to the wider terminal and the negative to the other and the cone moves outward, then the wide spade is the positive terminal.

On the other hand, if these are the only speakers in the vehicle it really doesn't matter which you use as positive as long as you do the same with both of them.

Every pioneer speaker I've ever dealt with, the wider terminal was the positive, and the skinny or narrow terminal was the negative.
