I just installed a Pioneer avic-f700bt and I am having problems being able to configure my phone to it. My phone cannot find it with Bluetooth. Also all the options on the screen dealing with the phone are "grayed out" and I cannot even press them to try and configure the settings.

My thoughts: Maybe some safetys on it so options cannot be configured while driving?

Thanks for time and help in advance.

Well is there a parking brake wire for that unit? If so is it hooked up properly and the parking brake engaged? It does sound like it is defeated or not enabled. Did you go to the trouble shooting section of the manual?

Thanks for the reply. I actually moved the mute wire up one spot and then over a couple and then grounded it with the parking break wire, which acted as a bypass.
