confusion setting in for me, 4 ohm dvc

ok i understand that i can take my dual 4ohm sub and make it into a 2ohm sub.. how can i do this? this confuses me...

You don't. It is, right now, as it sits, an 8 ohm woofer (with the voice coils wired in series), a dual 4 ohm woofer (with the two voice coils not interconnected in any way) and a 2 ohm woofer (with the voice coils wired in parallel).

The woofer wiring guide, found on our own 12volt, shows you.
