ok I have an 3 jensen xs12's and need an amp! i got them at work because they where on clearance for 6 bucks a peice there 525 peak and 175 rms need the cheapest amp to run all 3. im a student and I am on a budget.  so give me some ideas ppl i know it needs to be 1 ohm stable but im having a hard time finding one  here are the specs on the manual for the subs    well tell me what you think thanks

I know jensens are not the best but its ok igot them for 6 dollars and they still bump

qts is extremely high on those...most suiteable for sealed or IB.

Ported they will sound like complete donkey crap unless in a big ported enclosure tuned in the 20s

so what can i buy that is cheap to run them all !!!  im a student and have lil cash !!! give me some ideas 150 at most wouldnt like to spend more than 100 plus the speakers are cheap

I would find a single channel amp that puts out around 600 watts at 1 ohm

that amp would work...if you have enough room a 4th order bandpass may work

ok  sounds good would you be interested in helping me with the design i can do the wood work but dont understand the calculaters for a 4th order bp  all the infor should be there for it   by the way i have an explorer so i probably have the room  other wise what esle could i build and how do i get the amp to run at 1 ohm  i thought i knew car audio lol guess i dont know doodie lol i can do all the work but just dont understand the math

Wiring the subs together would be all of them in parallel if I understand that they are single 4 ohm coils on each

ya i got all the wiring down for the subs but is there any way i  have to wire the amp up or just fuse it to the bat with a 60 amp fuse what I was really wanting you to help me with is the 4th order box im not sure how to use the calculater for it but i can build it i just need the HxWxD demensions . or if you can teach me how to use the box calculaters ,or should i put a new post up in a diff room

its your thread...you can say whatever you want.

I doubt you can design a 4th order bandpass...I tried but the specs to this subwoofer lends to to Infinite baffle. Anything else and it will sound like complete crap.
