I'm installing a Pioneer AVIC F90BT with the hardware bypass into a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer (Onstar/non-Bose). I finished the hook-up, but the head unit wouldn't power up. Both Onstar and the door chimes worked, so I checked the power. There is no switched power from the GMOS module to the stereo - I checked with a multimeter to my ground wire. I've triple-checked the wires, and everything appears to be hooked-up correctly. I'm guessing the module is bad - are there any other ideas as to what I may be doing wrong?

if you can, try a new GMOS-01 but if that is not an option, run a new wire to the orange or brown accessory wire at the keyswitch. you will lose the function that keeps the radio on until a door is opened but thats it.

We'v had alot of those modules be bad out of the box. I agree with soudnsecurity's sugestion on either running a new switched power or if you change the module id use the PAC version. They seem to be much better quality with a lower failure rate.

This is the second module I have tried. The first kept cycling and making a popping sound through the speaker, as if it were trying to chime. Instead of waiting for a new one, I'm going to go ahead and wire the radio to the switched source. I'm not happy with the quality of the product, but thanks for your help.
