07 civic added sub amp on factory radio hi/lo adapter hums when radio off or volume is to low never had that problem when using a pac hi/lo but did not have one at tha time any ideas besides lowering the gains on amp or adapter cuz i did that but sub volume was sacrificed too much

Did you connect the hi/lo converter in the trunk?  If so, moving it to the rear of the radio will help this problem.
