I have 2 rockford fosgate rf3410 10 inch subs. (single voice coil, 4 ohm, 400 watt max), and a lanzar vibe 235
4 x 200 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms 4 x 400 Watts Max at 4 Ohms 2 x 800 Watts Max at 4 OhmsBridged 4 x 300 Watts at 2 Ohms My question is, how should i wire my speakers to my amp, i really don't know much about ohms or anything of that nature. I went to rockford and they showed me a diagram for a 2 ohm load, and an 8 ohm load. But i figured i would ask the someone who could give me a better anwser. Thanks
To get the max out of your amp you will need to bridge it in a 2 channel configuration. Run it in 2 channel mode and hook each sub up to one of the 2 channels. Now your amp should have a diagram on it showing you how to bridge your amp to 2 channels. That will give you 4 ohms on each bridged channel for an output of 800 watts max per channel.
I would run each sub on its own channel and use the other channels for rear speakers....Having 800W/chan for 400W max speakers is a waste, and it makes it too easy to blow your speakers.

I'd tend to agree with dragonrage. While bberman1 is correct about getting the most from that amp, I think it's too much for your subs. Your subs (RFP3410) are 200 watts RMS, 400 watts PEAK. Even if you turn the gains down, you still run a large risk of blowing the subs if you bridge and throw 800 watts to each!. I'd go with dragonrage's suggestion and use 1 channel per sub (200 watts RMS and 400 watts Peak @ 4 ohms), and keep the other 2 channels for something else. With that amp its the best configuration for your subs. Either that or buy a 2 channel or Mono amp that puts out apx. 200-300 amps RMS.
