im sure i need a cap, my volts go down to around 11, i have an 300 amp jump starter wondering if i add a isolator if it would work as a capacitor because it also charges with 12 volt, i weighs a good 15 pounds and starts my v-8 in the dead of winter no prob. if some one has an idea give me a reply thanks!!!

You could try a product like a xtatic batt cap. It is more or less a batt that act like a cap in the fact it is fast charging. Have you done the big 3? an alt/ and extra batt would be your best bet. along with doing the big 3 and if you do add a alt it is very important you do the big 3. Also you could be over gaining the amplifer trying to gain more sound causing it to clip.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Dominick Iraggi. Iraggi alternators 615-287-7991. Dont bother to call unless you are serious about doing an alt. He is a very busy man. But he can do an alt for just about anything.

I just got an iraggi for my 96 cougar. thing was shipped damn fast, price was as cheap as you could ever hope to find for an alternator with comparable output (if you can find one with comparable output, 165A at IDLE!!)

This guy is HARD AS HELL to get a hold of though, and yes he is a serious business man... hes hard to get a hold of because he is in his shop making peoples alts all day long.

I managed to get a hold of him after calling all day..... then two days later he actually returned my call lol.
