Is there any single amp that would push 900 watts to these speakers in mono? This is what I'm thinking. Need an amp that will have enough watts bridged to one channel to cover the 6 ohm load Don't know of any 2 ohm stable amps in mono to be able to wire them at 2.67ohms
Zapco REF1000 1st choice but only 111watts per speaker at 6 ohms
PPI A1200 133watts per speaker @6 ohms
Or go in another direction with an HCCA2100 2x400@1ohm 102w per @1.3ohms but lose SQ and gain heat=not good.
Then there's 6ch amps like JLG/M6600 108x6@4ohms Cheapest option don't know about SQ though
So does anyone have any better options or is my best bet running 2 amps therefore having 4 other 125w mid's sharing amp w/750w sub (and what amp will do that) because I have a 3 amp limit and already have 2 so I'd have to start from scratch. My ultimate goal is sound quality then loud then efficiency
What, EXACTLY, are you trying to accomplish? Why, EXACTLY, do you believe (incorrectly) that you have to power your drivers AT their rated power?
Fill us in a little bit more on the thoughts, here...

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
Kicker zx line is 2 ohm stable mono. my zx1000.1s birth sheet is 1270rms at 14.4 at 2 ohm. So that would be a perfect match for the power you are wanting at 2.67ohm

I hope for "SQ" reasons these are not L and R speakers like say components.

OK a little more info, I have 6 B&C mid bass pro audio drivers Rated @200w RMS w/crossovers and selenium HLCD's added to 4 of them. My goal is for them to be heard loud and clear at 100' with a dispersion pattern of 45-90 degrees hence the need for a mono signal. Isn't the zx100.1 a sub only amp? I also found an Arc Audio KAR1000.2T which I know is not as reknown as their SE series but from what I've heard has similar SQ to that of the Zapco and is 2 ohm stable bridged: 900wattsx1@2ohms and 1000wattsx1@1ohm which will give me a little more flexibility in my wiring. That being said I might just go with 2 jl g6600's and if the SQ isn't up to par I'll go from there. I know this isn't car audio but it is 12 volt and that's what this site is about and has been very helpful in the past. Thank you all for your input.
yes the ZX1000.1 is a sub amp freq range of 25Hz to 200Hz for a true SQ system my money and choice would be on the Zapco.
