I wired in a four channel line out converter to run my four channel amp off of. I have everything wired properly according to its instructions, but when I play audio through a channel to to adjust the gain, the output is very low no matter what gain is set to. BTW I'm adjusting both the amp and converter gains with no avail.

Any idea where I may have gone wrong?

ps: my car is a 97 saturn sc2 with the factory hu

Is there a factory amplifier in this vehicle?

Nope, I think it turned out to be a faulty converter. It doesn't matter now though b/c I switched in an aftermarket hu I had instead and everything works perfectly. :-D
