Setup:
I've got a 92 Toyota Truck. I have a pair of Blaupunkt Mid's and Separates speaker sets. I've got the 6" mid in the door, and then the tweeter is half way up the window column. Each crossover module is basically mounted up behind the dash almost directly behind the factory dash speaker location, although they are closer to the firewall than the dash speakers.

Problem:

I get a buzz in the tweeters that seems to be related to the blower fan. This buzz is a mid frequency buzz that occurs only when the comfort control system is set to the fresh air position and the fan is on. The faster the fan runs the louder the buzz. The right crossover module does sit in fairly close proximity to the blower motor. This is the confusing part, the sound comes from both the right and left tweeters.

Anybody got any ideas how to eliminate this problem?

1st off I would pull the X over out and see if the problem goes away. If it dose then I would find a new location to mount them. If not then let us know and we can try and find a solution. But I think the cause of the problem is the Xover or one of the wires being mounted too close the high current of the fan or one of its components.

I agree, it deffinately sounds like interfeerance. Let us know if bberman1's suggestion works
