Ok, I have 2 15" L5s in a ported enclosure with recommended airspace in it. I want to upgrade to 4 subs. My question is if I just added 2 more subs to the existing enclosure, how much of a difference would I notice. I would think since 2 subs are sharing the airspace of one chamber, that they are each only getting half of the recommended, thus they would only be at half their potential, which would be the same as 1 sub at full potential....? Im pretty sure ill be able to tell that theres more then just 2 15"s back there, but how much difference? What do u guys think about it? Please share your thoughts

Build a new box for the 4 or just leave it the 2. You will regret cutting up a good box to add speakers to no avail. It will sound like straight garbage. Kicker squares love airspace. You want to go louder and dont have the space for 4 in the correct airspace? Buy a pair of L7s. They handle more power than the L5, sound about the same and get good and loud when you put the power to them.

above statement is correct...........build a new box for four subs or stick with the two subs
