hey can you please help i have 4 12" subwoofers single voice coils that put out 380 watts rms each and im looking for and amp my two choices right now are the hifonics 1600 watts rms at 1 ohm or the hifonics 1700 watts rms at 2 ohms please help!!! thank you in advance!

Brand and model of subs? Are they 2 or 4 ohm coils? Need to know this before amps can be recomended.

speakers do not put out X watts rms.

Nice amps but they will kill them speakers that low. Need better speakers or a lower amp rating. And aznboi3644 is right it is either WATTS (which is peak power) or RMS (Continues power) Can't be both

if you want to get technical, puremex is incorrect about subs putting out power, but he is correct on the verbage of WATTS RMS.
how many watts constant power can the subs handle? 380 watts RMS(constant) it would not make sense otherwise. 380(what)RMS
