Has anyone ever used this kind of wire fastener to fasten wires to sheet metal, like in the trunk or under the IP? I was wondering if they work.

I've used the wire tie sticky things - little square bases that accept a wire tie.

I really like them, and they are reusable.  You just need to make sure you prep the surface correctly - just like with any sticky type solution.

Yea, I've used them before. The reason I kinda thought these would work is I'm using them behind a panel that sits real close to the metal, there's hardly any clearance. it's either the wire straps or duct tape.
