PROS: you can make it to fit in whatever area you want and contour to surfaces to save space.

can be just as strong as wood if done right.

can look a lot better than a wood box.

CONS:
requires a lot more skill to make a good box out of fiberglass

materials cost more

takes longer to build and usually harder to make it look nice because you either need to paint it or wrap it which can be harder depending on what shape it is
