Dual 2 ohm, dual 4 ohm, or dual 8 ohm?   What is the minimum operating impedance your amp?

You didn't mention what impedance each voice is, but have a peek here: https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp

Wire each speaker as above and connect one speaker to the left channel of the amp and connect the other speaker to the right channel of the amp.

Try this one

Connect the positive wire to the left positive terminal of the amplifier. Connect the negative wire to the right negative terminal of the amp.

most is in the correct install, tuning and the most critical is the box itself. A prefab box is usually crap.

Did you run your amp power wire to the battery?  Do you have the speaker wires of the radio and the amp both connected to one or more speakers?

Define kicks off and kicks back on.  Does the cd player turn off or does it just skip?

the main power wire is run to the battery , i have two 5 1/4 speakers run to the radio itself and the subs bridged on the amp and the radio kicks off!

I am still trying to figure out what you mean by Kicks off.  Do the lights go out and the radio turn off, or does the music just quit for a second or two.
