Im looking for a slim sub or a sub 6" mounting or less. I have a rockford 1000d. my truck is a reg cab 96 tacoma.
ive been looking at elemental designs slim sub either two or four. i was also looking into fi audio subs.
i just cant afford the jl's. those are my ideas. if anyone has any suggestion on a sub i should use with this amp.
any input is greatly appreciated.

What up man. Since your wanting to run a 1000bd I would recommend the Rockford Fosgate P3 Shallow Mounts theyre available in 10" or 12". I install them everyday and its the best sounding shallow mounts ive heard. I would recommemd the 12" because the 10" doesn't quite have enough low bass stability for my taste.

my friend had 2 of those p3 shallow mount 10's under the seat in his 05 dodge quad cab and they sounded terrible, granted the under seat box for that truck has almost no airspace. but i know another guy with an 07 crew cab chevy and he has 2 kicker shallow mount 12's under his seat and they sound real good.
