you know how 0 gauge wire is bigger than 2 gauge wire, does that apply to ohms, like is 4ohms louder than 8ohms? i have a 12" sub that's dual 4ohm, 2ohm, or 8ohm capable and im trying to figure out whitch one would give me the deepest bass? im trying to avoide having to wire my sub 8ohm's, screw it in the box, test it, then pull it out of the box, and do the same for 4 ohm's. please help!

No, it's not as simple as that. It depends on what amplifier you are using. What's the amp?

its a pyramid PB1500 2ch amp. im looking at the manual for the amp right now and it says "MINIMUM SPEAKER IMPEDANCE 4 OHMS!" if you want it bridged, whitch i do.

Run 2 sets of wires out of your box.  Then you will not have to remove the woofer from the box to change wiring configurations.  Your only choice is to run the speaker as an 8 ohm driver.

Option 2 (series) = 8 ohm load
Voice coils wired in series
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 4, 2, or 1 ohm mono

Your best bet is to continue shopping for an amplifier.  Get a mono amp and you can load it at 2 ohms.  But until then, cause I know that money can be tight, work on setting up this existing system as good as you can make it.
