if you have 2(2)ohm subs, you will be able to play them at a 2 ohm load. But if you have 2 4ohm subs you will able to play them at a 1 ohm load BUT turn your gain down b ecause you will blow your subs. I had kx1200.1 and 2 12L7's and i had my gain almost 3/4 up. go here to see how to wire them up..... https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp

2 as in 2 voice coils per sub? then no 1ohm or 4 ohm if your running 2 subs

if they was sinlge 4ohm voice coils yes then you could

yeah its unfortunate that you bought a kicker amp with those subs because you can only wire those together to get a 1 ohm or a 4 ohm load. since im pretty sure that kicker is not 1 ohm stable you will need to wire those subs into a 4 ohm load.

the KX1200.1 is 1 ohm stable.

You will be fine power wise too. Just read the How To Set Gain Topic. Wire for 1 ohm.

Gain is to match your preout level. Just going off his subs tells nothing of where the gain should be set.
