Hi, I am about to install my Pioneer DVD/CD Player in this 2002 Escalade and I was wondering, do the door speakers also have some sort of amp like the rear factory sub does? If so, where is it located so I can bypass it?

The escalades I'm familiar with have the sub in front console and the amp is under the armrest part of the console. Yours may be different tho. But anyway the whole system is amplified I do believe and will have to be bypassed or interfaced with.
