Hello everyone!

I'm new here so bare with me =P.

Recently put a Clarion deck ( 7" screen), 2 12" Kenwood's and a 1200W Kenwood Amp... System runs decent with little dim when i really crank it., while driving.

I recently had the car parked and was waching some music videos on my screen with the bass pumping at mid range. I then started to see the car revin' ( I guess to charge up the battery) which pretty much wasn't enough.. So I decided to go around the block, I put the car in drive started to go and boom, my car shuts off. I turned it back on turned off the deck + the subs and drove around (everything was cool). Put it back in the same spot and left it on again with out anything on (subs + deck) seemed ok but it was still revin' every so often. My question is this, how bad is this for the truck? will a cap fix this? is this normal when haiving a system like this running on an OEM Altenator/Battery? What can I do so this doesnt happen again?

Sorry if my question is stupid or "nubish" but im not the smartest guy when it comes to this stuff. Thanks for any help =)

cap wont help if your killing the battery sounds like you need a biger alternator to run your system that long at idl.
