I have a 97 Ford Ranger I was just trying to find a place that would sell instalation kits for aftermarket in dash cd players. Does anybody know were to get good stuff cheap. Or is this just something to buy at best buy/circuit city etc. Any advice would be much appreciated.

You can sometimes get them for less online but the difference will usually be made up for by the shipping charges.  We sell most kits for $16.99, and the wiring harnesses for the same price.  Most places online sell harnesses for at least 2-3 dollars less, and I've seen a few places that sell both the kit and harness together for like 30 bucks but again remember the shipping.  I guess if you were buying multiple kits for different vehicles then maybe you'd end up saving money doing it online but it's obviously up to you.  Metra and Scosche make good kits and harnesses, and a place called Best Kits makes some really nifty specialty kits.

Here's a store I found on google that has pretty good prices (didn't check shipping though).  https://www.soundoffaudio.com/items.cfm/cat1/Car%20Audio/cat2/INSTALL%20KITS%20AND%20HARNESSES/Cat3/FORD%20-%20LINCOLN%20-%20MERCURY
