I have a 2 channel MB Quart PAB 2100 amp that I am installing in my car.  My car has a stock component system in the doors.  the current system consists of a bass, mid, and tweeter  in each door.  How can I connect my amp to run this on the OEM BMW reciever?  I have little experience in audio so simple is better.

If I am not mistaken, that was an all active system, with a 6 channel amplifier in the trunk. This will NOT be an easy retrofit, as you will have to build a three-way passive crossover system for both doors. (I believe I actually have an amp from one, sitting in my garage... :P )

If I am wrong, I'll get called on it for sure, but I think I remember that one correctly.

BTW? How you been, Bob?

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I am not looking for concert hall sound just something better than the OEM.  My options are connect the speakers to achieve between 2-4 ohm so I can use my amp and include a 2-way crossover or buy a 3-way and connect each speaker.  Thoughts?
