I've been having some wiring problems with my current amp. I am trying to wire a single 4ohm dvc subwoofer to a 4-channel amplifier. I am thinking i need to wire it independently. I do not know if I should wire one VC to the rear right and the second VC to the front right so it's the same signal or if i should just wire it on the rear channels only, or the front channels only. I would like to find out how i should it to this amplifier for I do not have money for a new amplifier.

here's what i have.

(the infinity kappa 120.1 DVC subwoofer, about half way down the page)

I also have two 4ohm SVC woofers but i can toss those if needed.
Also any advice would be great.

Your amp is 4-ohm stable when bridged, so I'd connect one VC to channels 1 and 2 and the other VC to channels 3 and 4. Be sure to set your gain properly.

Look in your owner's manual under "bridged connection."

Turns out one of my VC's is bad on the subwoofer. When I hook the VC that I think is messed up, my sub heats up alittle bit and no sound plays. Any tips on what i could do to fix the VC? I could use only a single VC but i would like both to work. It's still safe to use that single VC correct?
