Ahoy hoy

Installed a DD stereo into a 2004 Toyota Celica GTS with the JBL amplified system. Use a BHA8113 for the install. There is terrible alternator whine when the stereo is on. It does not get worse when the gas is pressed and doesn't get louder when the volume is turned up. Ive tried resistors to reduce the signal output and re-grounding the unit. Ive heard from fellow installer that is you ground the signal ground it will help. What are my options? Amp Bypass?
