Just purchased the pioneer avh-p3100DVD, and I see that there is a cable that allows you to hookup an iPod directly (CD-IU50V).But does the cable only work with iPod, or other usb devices as well.
If it doesn't, does anyone know if there is a cable that allows a choice between iPod connection or a usb.
And if there is a better model that utilizes these functions, and is around the same price, please let me know also.

That radio has a usb port on the front it should read any usb devices as well as your ipod. This is a very nice unit and it is worth the money. Great choice
