i have 2- 10" subs that are dual 6ohm and a mono block amp that is 2ohm and 1ohm stable. am i correct in thinking i should wire the subs parallel and create a 3ohm load?

subs are dual voice coil? each coil is 6 ohm? if so then you should wire each of the subs 2 coils in parallel and then wire both subs to the amp in parallel which will give you a 1.5ohm load at the amp. basically, wire every positive together and every negative together and then run that to the amp

they are dvc 6ohm so i will try that and see what happens! the subs are junk (brand new but junk) and free so if they explode its no big loss! they are basically just to get me by until i can get something better!! thanks again for the clarification!
