for anyone who has taken the mecp test, could you tell me what its like. study guide or install bay scenarios?

if you read through the book and take all of the practice tests the bronze level test is not that bad. just make sure you know your calculations, ohm's law etc...

The Basic isn't bad at all. If you're a new installer, the basic is a good way to get your feet wet and learn the beginning stuff. Keep in mind that the Basic certification is pretty much the 'Aprentice' level. If you can get your shop to foot the bill, it's worth it. The Advanced book (which looks like a college text book and is about as fun to read) and the Master's study guides are both very good tools for both study and shop reference.
