So i'm looking to put a new dvd in my dash but i'm not trying to spend a ton of $. I was looking at a Clarion VRX575USB\RB and a Jensen VM9311. Which one would you recommend. I was leaning towards the Clarion cause i can get it for under $300 but i know nothing about the company. Any insight about Clarion or what else i might wanna look into?

The Clarion unit will be more reliable than the Jensen. We have sold Clarion in the past and we do sell the Jensen unit. If you are very gentle with your equipment the Jensen unit may be OK. If you or any of your friends are the least bit on the rough side, not so much going to be ok.

yea he's right PLUS the jensen 9311 is the older model, try lookin up the jensen uv9 or jensen9412 or 9512

I've had a jensen come out of the box and start smoking go with the clarion. Clarion are far more reliable then the jensen.

please, for the love of cake, go with the clarion! even if you end up paying more for the clarion than the jensen, the clarion is a much better unit. the only jensens that seem to be reliable are their most basic models because are less features than can break and malfunction. clarion all the way.
