does a 95 sl 320 have 1 amplifier for all the speakers or individual amps in each speaker? a friend wants me to install all new speakers in his sl 320 due to static and speaker noise in the front speakers. i'm not sure if these are special speakers or if off the shelf speakers will work.

hi,

does the SL have the woofer behind the left seat...two ports visible in the carpeted panel. or open the compartment up to see if it's in there. if the woofer is in there, the amplifier is attached to it.
