i have a pioneer 800w amp pushing 2 rf p1's. my lights dim real back i have a 2007 silverado 1500. ive heard diffrent stories about caps and alternators. would i cap help or what size alternaor do i need to get please help thanks.

oh ya i have a acdelco battery and 4 gauge wiring

Post the model #'s of the items you have installed in the vehicle.  If you have not done the BIG3 (or4) or have no idea what it is, then do a search here on the forum for it and get it done like yesterday. Then you tackle the issue of alternator and battery.
