how is this possible?

I have two type r's and i was thinking about getting a 3rd one. How come people say that if i get a third one i wouldnt really be able to tell a difference. It's a whole nother subwoofer bumping, i dont understand how it wouldnt make a difference. ITS A WHOLE NOTHER SUB!

Free advice, don't do it. It is not worth the investment into it for little to no increase in output. Then you have to tackle the issue of how to power it properly with the amp you have now.

yes its more air moving but the VOLUME wont increase just the air pressure....I thnk thats why the OP was confused.... loudness, the other posters are correct... the volume /sound loudness you won't hear, however it WILL move more air and create higher cabin pressure...
