I am pushing 750 for both subwoofers and their 500rms a piece so it's 250 over if my amp is accurate. It says 1500.2 RMS though soo...is this okay for the subs....they peak at 1500w
Thanks

Do you hear any Non-Musical sounds coming from the subs when they are playing at a loud volume?   Do they smell funny when playing loud?

how do you know you are sending each subwoofer 750 watts??

Have you measured with an oscilloscope and clamp meter??

What was the reactive load??

What model amp??

1500.2 am??? Seems like a cheap flea market crap amp to me. Not many real 1500 watt two channel amps.

why didn't you state the amplifier model number???

You think people can read minds from the internet...READ THE STICKY.

...because "American Bass" and "Audiovox" can claim 1500 WRMS, but we all know where THOSE numbers are from!

It's a number... slapped on the heatsink of an amp. How hard was it for you to TELL us from the beginning what amp you had, rather than make us guess...? Your "makes me laugh" comment was as out of line as his assuming that you had "cheap flea market garbage". Now you're both even! Get over it, but if I had to guess, I'd say I was more on his side.

By the way... It's "one hit comma and you're addicted." Fix your sig.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
