i got a power acoustik ptid-7002nr head unit.. power acoustik bamf-4000/1d mono block amp with 2g wiring kit.. and 3x 10inch jackhammers .. when i turn my volume up.. the screen on the head unit starts to have like white wavey lines.. and than goes black after a little bit.. but it stays working.. system doesnt shutoff or anything.. i can still control the headunit with the remote.. anyone know why the screen would be going black? if i turn the x-bass off.. it doesnt do it.. but than there isnt much bass... any ideas on why the screen would go black but i can still control it with the remote??

Sounds like a defective head unit.  Take it back.

I agree with DYohn, the H/U is probably defective. Could be a loose harness connecting the screen to the circuit board, and the vibrations from the bass cause the fault in the connection.
