I am about to buy two new Memphis Mojo Tens with a 500 watt rms per sub. Im going to put them in a ported Super Bass box made by Probox. I would like opinions on whether I should buy dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm subwoofers. If i buy dual 2 i am going to wire them down to 2ohm and more than likely run an alpine 1000 watt on them.   If i buy dual 4 i am going to wire them down to 1 ohm and put the Memphis 1100 class D on them.               I would like to have opinions on which set up i should run.

The only question is, which amp are you going to use.

well if u get 2 ohm subs you limit ur wiring options cuz with 2 or 1/2 most likely your not gonna have an amp that does 1/2 ohm stable. but if you get 4 ohm subs you can always change it up. you can buy big amp run it at 4 ohm for efficiency... wire down to 1 for power and more dbs maybe. or you can buy a 2 channel and bridge the amp. with 4 it just gives you a couple more options.
