I have no idea which is more powerful. But I choose the Alpine.

i work with both amps almost every day. I would rather demo the Alpine all day than turn on the kenwood. Its noticeably cleaner bass and also more powerful

I sell both of those amps at the shop i work at.In my opinion the alpine is more powerful. Both of these amps are hooked up to my demo bored and when i play them the alpine seems much more powerful when compared to the kenwood.

Nobody likes the Kenwood. Didn't you get that? ------------- Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

2.0 cubic ft ported tuned to like 33 is what i've been hearing. What are the voice coils on the sub 4 ohm each?

it would be enough to power that one but not two. make sure you build a solid enclosure to do your setup justice

depends on what you want out of your subwoofer. if you want it to be a little bit cleaner that box would be okay. Me personally i would go with a larger ported box and unleash more SPL from the type r.

lol. what does SPL stand for? (i know im a noob)if ported, how much total volume should i get?
