Hello,

So, i installed a new head unit into my 2000 subaru forester. Everything works fine, except the fact that my dash lights no longer work. I know that they are not fried, because i can make them come on by touching the foresters illumination wire (or it could of been the dimmer (illum -) ) to the accessory wire. However, as soon as i turn on the headlights, the dashboard lights go out (exactly the opposite of the way i need it to be...). I can not figure this out for the life of me. Anyone have any ideas?
