Hey all, I have a 95 Integra with a 12" Bassworx (500w), and a 600w MTX Thunder, with a 1 farad cap and 4 gauge wire. Everything appears to be working, the light on the amp is as it should be, the cap reads 14 when car is turned on...I looked at all the wires, sub in and outs are as they should be, wires to the sub are in order...no fuses blown. What are some possible problems with this, I'm hoping my amp isn't messed, should I get a bench test as well?

Have you metered the subs to make sure they're not toast?  What about the signal from the deck?

Did you buy them brand new?...
Every time I have blown a sub, you can usually smell a nasty burning smell from the magnet/ voice coils; and as well, if you push the sub with your fingers it wont move back and forth properly it will feel jammed if its blown.

Another thing to check for is to make sure your ground is properly grounded, if it isn't it will cause your amp to cut out or not work at all even though the light may come on posted_image
