So im getting a kicker 12inch solo x 5000watt/2500 rms now i need a amp any suggestions?? I was thinking about the kicker 2500.1 but thats around 700. Im trying to keep it kinda cheap but i also want quality? So if you know of a good amp let me know thanx

I currently have 2- 12inch Kicker L7's getting pushed by an Alphasonik 1200da. It puts out 2470 watts rms at 1 ohm mono. Very nice amp. No complaints. Paid little over 500 for it

audiopipe is the way to go on this one. what voice coils does it have dual 2 or 1 or 4? i have a audiopipe gd 6001 and it does 2000 rms @ 1 ohm, 2800 at 1/2 ohm and burps near 3500 rms at 1/4 ohm. brand new like 500 or less. great amp and plays 1/2 ohm all day and can play quarter ohm for like 10 minutes before getting hot.

If you cant afford the proper amp to push this sub....much like the ZX2500.1 the amp designed to run that sub, I would suggest going with a smaller sub.

These subs take ALOT of power, and shorting them on power, or pushing a POS amp into distortion will not end well
